Hi all
I've had acid reflux a while and been on omeprazole 20mg once a day for 4 years. I'd love to come off it as I don't want to be on pills for the rest of my life as the thought of the risks or side effects makes my HA worse!.
The gastroenterologist I go to has had no suggestions about diet or whether stress makes reflux worse.
My reflux is normally ok but recently after another bout of HA my reflux has been worse and I've been taking gaviscon as well.
Has anyone else noticed stress or anxiety makes their reflux worse, also does changing your diet help much?
