prickly heat

iam suffering from prickly heat..got clear rash between my boobs ..feels like sandpaper..no itch..just prickly burning sensation.anyone else get this?

I got this a few years ago when I went on the sunbeds its awful! I used anti histamines and it got rid of it.

how long did it take to heal...burny and as i say feels like sandpaper but no red rash

Aaah, so you don't have the rash or itch?
Could it be paraesthesia?

Sorry, I'm being dippy, you do have a rash, just not red?
Does it feel like sandpaper to the touch?
Could it not be eczema/dermatitis?

i have clear spots..flesh coloured..no itch ..just prickly and burny

Could it be like hives? Like a nettle rash? I get this randomly on my leg now and again usually if I have been caught off the cats claws etc.

saw dr tonight and she told me it was due to sweat and to take antihisamine

Anti histamines work wonders! They help clear up my contact dermatitis although doctor said this is a coincidence. Maybe it just helps with the itch for me.

hope it does the sme for me as i am fed up with this..seemed to sweat all day friday and whole body roasting on saturday..just the bit in between my boobs now..it never gets any air in that bit

Try using Sudocrem, I recently had to use it on my chest and shoulders for the same thing, it really cools it down as long as you don't mind the big white patch it leaves behind, lol, soon soaks in though.

Doctor reckons this is a fungal infection as I am still burning between my boobs..hate this heat

Did the doc give you any cream for it? If not, try the sudocrem, cant hurt, I know what you mean about the heat though, I'm constantly hot and it does make the prickling worse and so uncomfortable :(

Antibacterial wash
