So for a long while (since 2009) i have had a rather stuffy sinus. I can breathe through it but it takes a long while to do so and more often than not one side is completely blocked (hardly any air can even get through).

But i always feel somewhat drowsy and tired during the day for a long while now. I used to wake up during the night quite a few times but nowadays it rarely happens (i stay asleep).

So is it possible it might be causing mild sleep apnea? I don't wake up feeling breathless (this has happened maybe once or twice in the past) and i don't feel any horrible symptoms when waking most of the time. But i have had similar sleep apnea type symptoms in the past at random points (often spaced out, haven't had any recently).

So could it be possible?

Could be. Also, anxiety causes breathing things in your sleep sometimes. I wash my sinuses out with saline sometimes, the doctor approves!

Im not too worried about it (since Sleep Apnea damage occurs over a long period of time if not treated) for the time being, but i can still breathe it just is much much harder and more troublesome than breathing normally without my sinus being congested. It may be why i have anxiety partially since it causes breathing problems.

The good news is that today i actually had quite a lot of energy surprisingly, ran up a road for around half a minute without even feeling out of breath! I often too that to test the limits of my heart, usually i get out of breath if i am low on energy after half a minute. I don't get chest pains just my breathing is more demanding.
