Dip in / out propranolol

Hi guys need some advice severals months ago I had anxiety quite bad with having to take time of work doc gave me prop for the physical systems and I took them for a couple of months then things improved and I stopped taking them the thing is I get them on repeat prescription so I have stock of them , the last week the anxiety has come back along with it the systems so I wondered if I should start them again without going to doctors which takes a while to get an appointment basically what I asking is can you dip in and out with this medication any advice gratefully recieved sue xx

Can't see why not? I have been on it daily since March and I have heard of people who take it only for events such as speeches and interviews.

I am on 20mg escitalopram for A/D but the doctor has also prescriped me propanolol to take as and when for the anxiety side of things. If I was you I would just phone your GP surgery and ask them, they will ask the doctor on your behalf, or get him to ring you.
