Does anyone else hate car parks where they make you complete some sort of trial to leave again?
I went swimming yesterday and the car park at the pool 15 miles down the road is a few minutes walk from the actual pool building. You have to drive through an automatic barrier but you can't get out until you have bought a 50p token from the pool reception. The bit between parking and getting to the pool building I find hugely stressful.
It is even worse at the nearby Arndale centre as you have to park, get the lift to the ground floor, then put your ticket through a machine before you can get back out. This can be even worse if you don't have change and have to go and buy something.
