Different symptoms come and go, but there is something that has bothered me for a long time. Sometimes i feel like my mind "slips". Like my thoughts suddenly become more intense and confusion takes over me. Random thoughts, words, images may cross my mind or it may go blank. All this thing only lasts for a second or two. It leaves me frightened.Sometimes it is more mild, but it lasts more. It makes me scared of losing my mind and I can't even describe it well. I get it often when I'm reading something interesting or impressive - not necessarily stressful - so it makes it difficult for me to study things that I'm interested to.
Also, I've been feeling like I'm getting stupid. I think my thoughts aren't as coherent as they used to be, which makes me even more afraid.

Pretty common for me, particularly at night if I wake up from a dream.

I usually start counting from say 1 to 20 or spelling my name. Once I realise I can do that I soon start to worry about it less.

It's a nasty little symptom though, but fairly common.
