Sorry for another entry (the chat room has helped me a lot) but

I have done well trying not to Google over the last few weeks. I have done good not looking at Daily Mail, even though I do admit that I have clicked on a few links.

I am still very much concern about my health, I was fine on holiday but as soon as come back the last two weeks I am straight back to myself being more worried each day.

I saw something in our local paper today, about figures about cancer that the city where I live is a cancer hotspot (with more people dying than anywhere else in the country)

I have also been to the doctors many times because I have worried, had tests done, nothing serious has been found. but still worrying a lot. I move from one cancer worry to another each day in the past, as well as other things. I think I am back with my health anxiety full panic.

Phil honey.

The reason your symptoms were better when on holiday was probably because you were too busy to worry so much.

Keep trying to think of groups etc that you can join to give your day some structure and also to give yourself something else to think about.

Also keep up the job hunting I am sure that there is something out there for you.

You are doing great keeping away from google and the daily mail and I am sure that if your days are filled with other stuff this will get easier and easier.

Boot up the backside over lol

hi Phil, Im so sorry youre feeling so bad, I too am doing my best not to google so maybe we need to join forces to make sure we stick to it. I really hope that youre able to cut down on the worrying and that you finally get some rest. I know exactly how you feel and can empathise totally so know youre not alone xxx

Hi Had

That sounds like a great idea, I am sure that if you and Phil join forces you will be invincible.

You too are fine hun, it will take time to build your weight back up, it is not going to happen overnight.

Positive thoughts to you both.

"Idle hands are the devils workshop."

It helps to have plenty to do.

Best of luck to all of you.

Thank you for your replies. I agree we need to join forces. hopefully if some clubs get suggested to me which I can join with CBT help it be good for me. If I get employment it might take my mind of things.

I sometimes feel I need to trust the GP/specialists more. I am getting more and more concern about my health each day. Also put more trust in the dentist as well. The GPs at the practice know me very well now, that I am worried about the big c word (and my blood pressure)

I have got myself in should a state and probably have brought some of the symptoms on by reading them on the internet in the past (as the symptoms stick in my mind) with also these awareness adverts (important if it save life) also thankfully I do not watch the soaps, apart from maybe catching the back end if want to watch something after the soaps on tv.
