hi

has anyone here seen a private gp at a hospital such as spire?

i am considering paying £70 for 30 minute consultation to work out what they think i should do regarding my neck pain.

the nhs have just labelled me a hypochondriac and i feel a visit to an impartial GP might help.

anyone know how these things go/what to expect?

Hi Darren,

Just a suggestion but have you tried visiting an osteopath or chiropractor? It would be cheaper and I would guess probably more helpful - you've had all the tests to rule medical stuff out, so it's probably something 'structural'...

I agree

Spend the money on seeing another expert like an osteopath

Did they tell you the fee was £70 as well at the Spire?

lots of people have now recommended alternative therapies for me so i am definately going to try some. i have just sent off a couple of emails to enquire with local people.

i found £70 on the spire website a while ago

need to see what the nhs gp has to say now that ive been discharged from hospital with no answers
