This is probably going to sound truly crazy...
I've been dealing with daily anxiety/panic symptoms for the past 1.5 years - racing heart, palpitations, breathing difficulties, feeling dizzy and lightheaded, etc. Of course the symptoms were distressing so I was locked into the dreaded cycle of more symptoms, more panic.
As of a few days ago, my physical symptoms seem to have nearly disappeared for no real reason but it's been replaced by more psychological symptoms - namely depersonalization and derealization. These are very distressing but my body is not having a panic response. Why is this?! I'm absolutely convinced my body is finally giving out on me. Why am I not having adrenaline surges even though my anxiety is high?
