Morning everyone,

I got up this morning and checked out my breast lump or infected duck as the doc says and felt quite positive because I was pretty sure it didnt look as red starting to look that sort of faded almost purpley when a wound heals but ive just sneaked another look and now I think it looks as red as ever!

Oh god I dont think the antibiotics are working, but then they wont on BREAST CANCER will they!!!!!!!!!

A course of antibiotics typically lasts 10 days or more depending on the prescription. They actually continue to work in your system for several days after finishing. It's not unusual at all for a rather stubborn infection to take some time to respond.

I know these words may fall on deaf ears, but mammary duct infections and inflammation are not commonly associated with breast cancer. They are more caused by changes in your body due to childbirth and aging.
