infections and sepsis

Hi guys.
Well I've had a lot of.anxiety health problems, but.after bad.back, side and abdominal pain.a.doctor has.said he thinks it is an infection.

I've got antibiotics but I was sick an hour later. Ive also got the shakes but my temp is fine. Im terrified im going to get blood poisoning and die. What are the chances of an infection? Im so worried, sorry for the.ramble x

You're already on antibiotics which would be the first point of call in treatment for an infection anyway. Blood poisoning doesn't actually occur as often as people think it does, and is unlikely given your areas of pain, and that you've seen a doctor and they haven't comment on it. It is SUPER unlikely given that your temperature is fine. The shakes are likely to be due to pain and anxiety. Antibiotics should clear up whatever infection you do have anyway, but if you're still vomiting in a couple of days give the doctor a call.
