Well as you know I've had a temperature since Tuesday. It's now Friday and I still feel just as poorly. I'm lying awake crying because I'm worried I'm going to develop meningitis or something or that I have advanced cancer. I'm so scared, I just want to feel well again. This isn't normal to have a temperature for so long. My body is struggling.

Hi
Sorry to hear you are feeling not well sending:hugs:to you
have you taken anything to get your temp down, paracetamol etc
what about your GP have you seen one while you've been ill,you
probably have a infection which is treatable with antibiotics....there's
always nhs direct you could ring for advice
I don't think you have meningitis or cancer you would have a lot more
symptoms than a high temp

I saw the go day before last who ruled out chest infection as I'd had a cough. Though the cough has gotten better though not quite gone yet.

I would live to go back to sleep now the paracetamol have kicked back in but now I've got a stabbing knife like pain under my left rib and it gets worse when I try and breath in. Probably just trapped wind? But it's excruciating, I can't get comfy at all. Every time I lie down it makes it worse
