I've been taking Citalopram for around 2 years now. Was up as high as 40mg but since it wasn't making me any better I tapered down to 20mg with a view of eventually swapping over to Fluoxitine.
Well todays the day - switched from 20mg Cit to 20mg Fluoxitine. Now I know they're both SSRI's but obviously they work in slightly different ways. Has anyone found the switch to Prozac worked for them? What side effects did you have during the first few weeks of switch? Etc Etc. Positive stories please! I guess I need hope that things have a good chance of improving. :hugs:
