I made it through the psych appt!

Hello everyone,
I wrote on Friday about my upcoming appointment with the psychiatrist today. I wanted to report that all went great. He affirmed my earlier diagnosis of bi-polar disorder and is starting me out on Lithium with Seroquel for sleep. Does anyone have any testimonies about these two drugs? I am feeling hopeful and on top of the world today. I pray that this will be a huge turning point for me psychologically. Thanks for all the wonderful words of encouragement everyone. Hi Sheryl!
Glad to hear things went well with the psych! My nan (95) has been on lithium now for 10 years after suffering from several severe breakdowns and it has really helped keep her stable and cheerful. Lithium's a salt so they take monthly blood tests to check your lithium levels-there's no standard dose but it all depends on your blood reading.
