neck shoulder pain

I have shoulder pain and some neck pain. The shoulder pain makes me think lung cancer as I have smoking in my past (7 years) and this pain has come out of NOWHERE!!!!

It sounds more like muscle tension. Maybe have a neck and shoulder massage or put a heat pd on to see if it eases it.

You could see a physiotherapist who could confirm it?

I've had two chest x rays and a chest ct that all came back clear. Just having a hard time accepting the fact that they didn't miss something

The x ray and scan would have shown if anything was wrong. It sounds very much like tension. Do you tense your shoulders up a lot?

yes I do. But I guess it concerns me because it is only one of my shoulders, not both. And it came on all of a sudden 4-5 weeks ago and is still there.....

I have a lot of pain in my neck and shoulder but only on the right side. It is tension and I go for physiotherapy for it.
