Ear ringing

Whenever I am in a completely quiet room, I notice low-level ringing in my ears. So I assume the ringing is always there, but since it isn't loud, I have to be in complete silence for it to bother me. Hopefully others can relate and this isn't some I should fret over.

Tinnitus. I've had it for years. As you age you lose your ability to hear high frequency sounds. If you listen to music too loud, even if you have had an ear infection, mild tinnitus can set in.

I have it constantly but it's worse when I'm under stress or anxiety. It only really effects me if it is accompanied by sound sensitivity. Otherwise, I forget about it.
