Hei, Bonjour, Goede dag, Kon-nichiwa, Olá, Xin chào, Hylo, Bună ziua and hello,
Hi, My name is Emmz and I am an a NMP addict..... It has been 1 and a half weeks since my last citalopram!.....(hey, we should hold NMP anonymous meetings :D)
Seriously though just thought I would share update on my life a little bit.
A few of you know about my story and I am not going to go into that, suffice to say I joined NMP at my lowest back in 2011 when I could hardly put one foot in front of the other, hid most of the day in bed and was a complete mess.
NMP helped a lot, gave me someone to talk to who understood what I was going on about, who understood what I was feeling.
Many a time I would go into the Chat room, a complete wreck but somehow after talking to people who were going through it too, coming out quite a bit calmer..... a great resource and was a great help to me.
so where am I now?
well currently nearing the end of a great family holiday when I spent my time acting like a kid and loving it :roflmao:
I feel totally back to being 'me' again, living life the way I want to live it and not letting it be controlled by my anxiety, yes it is still in the background but I have learnt to tell it to P*** off and not listen to it as I am better than it and then it usually subsides into the background again.
As of about a week and a half ago I am also Anx meds free after 2 and a half years on citalopram :yahoo::yahoo:
Many times I would forget to take them and not really notice any difference and then I kind of forgot to take them for a week and didn't notice any difference at all, so didn't start taking them again (I really DO NOT recommend doing it this way though!!!)
I have had a few head zaps not on the Citalopram but I can live with those so all is good :)
Thank you for reading my nonsense and yes I have been drinking :roflmao:
Hi My name is Emmz, Anx Med's free and loving life with a great family and a few very special friends xxx :D:yesyes:
ps.....Challenge yourself with something you think you could never do, and what you’ll find is that you can overcome anything :winks:
