Hi I have been taking these since May for anxiety/panic attacks, I was not keen when first prescribed and didn't take, but my anxiety and panic was so out of control and resorted to taking it, it did help control it very well. I take 100mgs a day slow release, the only side effect I had was it zonked me out completely for the first few days but that soon wore off and I have had no problems since. When I first started I took 50mgs but through trial and error and support from GP 100mgs seemed to do the trick for me.
Hope this helps you and good luck and hope you get some benefit from them
Kim :)

I've been taking Quetiapine for getting on for 18 months now for anxiety. It has helped me so much.

Started on 25mg at night and went up to 100mg before getting the best effect. My CPN was ok with up to 150 for anxiety, but I never went higher than 100. I didn't have the slow release.

I'm reducing now, finding it easy to reduce or go back up temporarily if needed. Mainly reducing because the higher dose meant alot more sleep needed for me.

I think it was a really good choice for me, very glad I got prescribed it. The only side effect was needing so much sleep. It was worth it though :)

Good luck!

I'm on quetiapine too :)

Like Kim, I'm taking 100mgs slow release per day and I do find it helpful :)
