I've been on Cimetidine for a long time now, but I've been prescribed Mirtazapine, and my doctor has advised me to stop taking Cimetidine due to interactions between the drugs. So, I need to find a way off the tablets, but every time I do my throat burns like a volcano every time I so much as belch. It's really scary, but I don't know if it's normal? If it is, how long will it take to go away?
