I just wondered if dehydration can cause or make symptoms of anxiety worse?
Thanks

Absolutely! Having experienced severe dehydration due to cancer treatment, I can tell you first hand it makes you feel like death warmed over and obviously, feeling ill can aggravate your anxiety symptoms.
Get some fluids in you!

Would of thought it would make you feel worse, I know myself when I am thirsty it does make me feel quite panicky and having a dry mouth is awful, I suffer from this a lot and it does make me feel anxious. Like Fishmanpa say's try and drink plenty of fluids, I know I don't drink enough so will take this advice myself!

Well let me tell you an experience I had.
I can't remember if I felt particularly thirsty, but one morning I was at a friends house and I was fairly anxious.
I asked him for a glass of water which I drank fairly quickly. 20 minutes later my anxiety melted away.
So yes I do think a slight lack of water will not help things.
