Help Please

Im 50 years old and very very stressed.
I have vulvodynia which is very painful, i have a hospital appointment in nov
I am doing a couse and keep forgetting the word impairment, i remember it for a few hours and then forget it
Ive convinced myself its early onset dementia
I dont think i can go on, so scared ....

I'm 58, I forget words all the time, so does my husband. My mum got dementia in her early 40s, but I've got this far without it getting any worse. It's normal for memory to get worse as you get older. Dementia is when you have short term memory loss ie forget what someone said a few seconds ago, forgetting words is normal.
