Hot flashes,nausea and generally feeling like s&@t :(

I haven't been on here much , until recently :( I've had anxiety
,well HA since 2002 ( that seems like so long ) for almost 12years I have worried about having ca£&er !!!(can't write the word too petrified!) lately I've been experiencing nausea like a real wave , chills hot flashes and generally unwell.... Can being on citalopram still give you anxiety symptoms? I've had the anxious thoughts but not the symptoms.... I feel like I'm going into the black hole again regarding what is wrong with me! I've been googling and I know I shouldn't but can't help myself! Xx

Rach it is most likely the anxiety that is causing these symptoms.

Hi Ceecee. Easier said than done, but if you had cancer for 12 years then you would certainly know about it, therefore you do not have cancer.

I'm on Citalopram and for the past week or so I've been shaky, clammy, cold then hot, feeling anxious etc. I've been on Citalopram for 6 months now so I am not assuming that my feelings are anything other than a virus.
