Help I'm coming of Venlafaxine !

Help me please someone I'm coming of venlafaxine after a long time been on 37.5 m for about 3 years now and want to quit as thet nothing for my anxiety someone suggested etizolam of Valium for a short term may be a month or two any advice gratefully received please !

I've been there so I know it can be difficult. Speak to your GP about it - some beta blockers or benzos will help for a few weeks. Once you're on them, get down to a low ven dose (37.5 is probably ok) and then just stop - it's hard for a few days but after a week or so, you'll be well over the worst.

Make sure that you agree everything with your GP though.

Thank you pip I'm going to a see a councillor from my local mental health wellbeing service tomorrow hoping to get some cbt and advice of them regards coming off meds as well
