Hi I am a male from Sussex and was on 30mg mirtazapine for depression for about a year which was moved up to 45mg about two months ago with no side affects.

Due to my anxiety and panic attacks my doctor has changed me to citalopram 20mg for the first week then to 40mg second week ( I am a few days in ) with diazepam to carry me over.
I still feel low but understand it takes time.
Could someone tell me if its normal to have a very loose tum and loss of appetite with theses please.

I've been on citalopram for about 6 weeks now. 10mg for first 3 weeks then 20mg. The first few weeks I lost my appetite and got quite bad nausea. It does subside though one your body gets use to the meds.

Thank you for your reply never had this sort reaction to tablets before so it add to my anxiety.
Good to know that it will get better and I'm not alone in this.
