What is this popping noise

For the last week, whenever I go to sleep I can hear and feel this popping sensation in my throat like something is coming up. It gets really bad when I'm trying to sleep as I think about it more, as for the rest of the day I have that something stuck in my throat feeling. Has anyone had this? Worried

About a year ago ( in John Lewis ) :unsure: I suddenly had a feeling of something in my throat, like a lump I couldn't swallow. It lasted a good few mths, I was so worried. I also felt clickimg in my throat when I swallowed or turned my head.

Doc told me this is an anxiety symptom and once a stopped worrying it eventually went..

Thanks for the reply. At times it is relieved by eating, but it gets really bad at night like my chest and throat are closing up, slept with two pillows yesterday. I also keep swollowing saliva to check if it's gone, which aggravates it more I think. I wish I could just relax and stop thinking about it. ��

It's awful. I found it horrible, but try a sweet, that helped me. Lots of water too

It's horrible, weird thing is I feel it when I swallow saliva n not food. My I keep thinking its something serious. Hate it

I never had it eating. I actually felt better when eating
