swollen lymph nodes in arm

I have two swollen lymph nodes in my arm (that I can feel - there maybe more that I cant feel). One in my lower arm/wrist and one in my upper arm. I am convinved its something really bad. My arm actually aches. I actually ache all over and feel tired. My anxiety is sky high and I'm going to the doctors today but all I really feel like doing is curling up in a ball and crying :weep:

Have googled and now I really am full of fear.

Anyone else had the same? any advice/support would be greatfully received.

Hi yogi blonde, first of all please don't keep feeling the nodes this will undoubtedly make them worse and sore. I've has swollen nodes in my armpits for a couple of years now and I made then worse by prodding because of this they never returned to normal size. I've seen breast specialists no numerous doctors who said I was fine, they still didn't know what caused them, maybe it was me prodding. Try to keep calm at the moment until you go to the doctors. If your feeling under the weather you may just have a virus or bug. Let me know how you get on at the doctors. The time I'm having at the moment, I wish I had something physical to worry about, oh how anxiety takes hold!

I keep pressing and feeling them.....you could be right that I am making them painful becuase I keep feeling that they are still there :huh:
