As you probably have heard it breast cancer awareness month in the UK.

Even though I am male I know I still need to be made aware of what symptoms to look out for, how to do breast exam properly.

sorry to be going of topic and was going to add a different thread title instead.

I have worried a lot lately about bowel cancer over the last 12 months (even though their have found nothing serious) I may need keyhole surgery as their may have found something on the small bowel (a small pouch) and want to double check with another scan I been reassurance by the doctor at practice nothing serious like cancer, I think if it was something serious I will be in by now) I know I had a CT scan, ultrasound, Sigmoidoscopy and MRI scan.

My advice is don't accept that if you abdominal pain is IBS seek a 2nd opinion you may be seen as a hypocdondriac.

I am still worrying about brain tumours even though I went to the opticians for an eye exam on Monday, I have moved back to lung cancer worries even though I don't smoke. I have even had worried about mouth/oral cancer

I think being told it is all in my head with some symptoms does not help.
