is there a helpline for panic attacks in having a really hard time right now please someone help me :(

thanks so much i had abit of a attack and splashed water on my face that seemed to help abit and thankyou for the number i feel so anxious right now my head feels really numb and tingly :(

Natalie you're going to be fine. Just try breathe slow and even, distract yourself in some way. There are many of us that experience what you're feeling, honest.

Panic always leaves you exhausted :( Concentrate on your breathing to calm yourself down. Breath in slowly through your nose, hold it for a count of 4 and then let it out very slowly and smile. Keep repeating this until you feel better.

Apart from the helpline at No Panic, as advised, they also have an out of hours number, which is a recorded message of the breathing exercise: 01952 680835

breathing space Scotland is open Monday to Thursday 6pm till 2am then Friday to sunday 24hrs they will help people living in England, as I do and ring them often its a free service to call only thing they cant do is act on your behalf if u live in England ie call dr police etc
