got upset at work

was checking a car over when i noticed what looked like sick on the tyres and wheel arch right where i was inspecting . I started heaving and was nearly sick myself and got in a bit of a state . The other guys thought it could be old paper but it stunk and looked like it had lettuce in it .

they had obviously driven over it on the way in and now of course my minds racing incase ive now caught the sickness bug from it .

any ideas if it is actually a possibility that i could get ill from it if it was sick ? I was quite near it close enough to small whatever it was .

made a bit of a fool of myself really heaving and stuff

I heave when I see/smell sick so I wouldn't say you are foolish. If you didn't touch it then there is no chance you've caught anything from it - if you have an open wound and did touch it then that may be a cause for concern but as you didn't you are fine!

cheers for the responses, i wear gloves etc . But sick and sickness bugs is what my whole issue revolves around so you can imagine how i felt
