I have been suffering very bad anxiety lately.
It started with a bloated/hunger feeling a couple of weeks ago, then I felt sick.. It went away, but came back, and I couldn't eat a bite of food without feeling full.

I thought it was all down to anxiety, so now I have gone back on 10mg citalopram (i came off it cold turkey in june) to try and calm me down. I went back on it on Tuesday.. so far I'm still getting these weird symptons..

I have a really tight feeling in my upper middle abdomen and it feels like I am really full, but I'm hungry at the same time.

Is this all down to anxiety? Has anyone experienced it? :scared15:

Hi Hannah, It may well be - all I know is that feeling anxious is about our perception/thinking of danger/someting scary. Logically, our body prepares itself for tackling the danger! Therefore, if you ask your body, it will probably 'tell' you it is not hungry as it is occupied waiting for a 'fight or flight' in the face of danger :D keep yourself busy (i.e., not sitting alone and thinking), and spend time around people and your apetite is likely to come back :)
