For those who have been talking in the chat room and been reading about me worrying about bowel cancer over the last 12 months as so.

I been told to expect a 2nd MRI scan as their want to confirm a small pouch loopy thing on the small bowel (well double checking) before telling whether I need keyhole (I am little bit nervous about needing keyhole, the only major thing I have done is having fillings, one root canal and adult tooth took out in the past) I did have a few teeth removed when I needed braces.

The specialist who I saw in June/July was very good because my Dad went with me (my Mum could not take the time of her work, but did take me for 1st MRI scan since it was in the school holidays, you can probably guess she works in a school)
who drew a little picture telling me what the sigmoidoscopy has possible has found (even though I had no polyps etc removed in June.

I been reassurance that I don't have anything serious by the GPs since I have asked a few times, I think by now when my abdominal pains symptoms, which has not been to bad lately so it still could be IBS has been brought on by stress, eating habits, being unemployed and from reading too much on daily mail and other cancer websites.

have been having and all the other scans I have had over the last 18 months I would be very very ill (bed ridden, not being able to post comments on here) or dead if it was cancer.

I am hoping that 2014 I be health anxiety free, I did see something scared on yahoo today about cancer. I will be 30, so hopefully goodbye health anxiety, hello new life and maybe a girlfriend.

Hi,

I feel that there has not been a very clear communication with you about all the tests and your symptoms and you should not be having concerns about what is happening if it is all explained to you.
There are so many people with these kind of symptoms and the vast vast majority there is nothing serious. Often there are minor things that can be done to ease symptoms. Sometimes they are anxiety based or made worse by anxiety.

You are not alone in this.
