Taking medication

I have been having constant hunger pains lately that won't go away when I eat.. And when I do eat, I feel full after a few bites!!

I've been prescribed 20mg omeprazole.
Just wondering, how long will it take to kick in after taking one tablet? I want to be normal again!!

The constant hunger pains have subdided (hopefully it stays that way)

but now I'm having nausea and dizziness, think its from the medication.

How long will it take for side effects to wear off, or will they stay?
