Pain right side of abdomen

I have a pain in the right side of my abdomen, an inch or so to the side of my belly button. It is only in one spot and only hurts when I sit up from lying down, sneeze, laugh or cough etc.. The rest of the time I don't know its there.

Its been like it for a week now, went to the Drs today and had a blood test and am now waiting for an altrasound scan appt. Am so worried that it might be something serious. Bowel movements are normal and don't have any other symptoms.

Has anyone else had anything like this before?? Please help, am SO anxious!

I have been havin stomach pain . I was diagnosed with diverticular dies ease 3 yrs ago but have returning issues .
I am going for scan on Friday and I'm really anxious myself .
I trying to be positive and hoping whatever the pain is it needs to be fixed even if it turns out to be anxiety
Stomach issues can come in many areas and can mostly be caused by anxiety then anxiety makes everything worse ;(
