Hi Margaret, and welcome!

I think you'll find this is quite a common problem. Many medications are available in liquid forms now, so it's always worth asking for this if you are prescribed anything. You might also find a pill crusher helpful, then mix the powder with liquid or something strong-tasting like jam.

Hope you'll be recovered from your infection soon!

My husband has problems swallowing tablets and the nurse told him to put them in yoghurt. It seems to work for him.

whinray, I have the same trouble with tablets. I break them in half or crush them.

I'm the same - I am sick if I swallow them whole so I crush them or avoid them.
