hi my name is daveruss and i have reactive depression brought on over a number of years after a number of personal tragedies . the last one was when my mother passed away and continued to work instead of taking time off. i was put on fluoxitine by my gp and have been on it ever since approx 18 months.

Hi have been on fluoxetine for2 1/2 years and am starting to reduce to taking them everyother day . But i cant remember wot days ive taken them the . The worst side effect up to now is the insomnia . Sleep at 9pm and awake at 4am . Oh and the weight gain . I have put on about 5 stones whilst on them . Help !!!!!!!

Hi Daveruss. I just wonder if you've had any help for your bereavement and personal traumas? It sounds like you suffered these tragedies, then kept going and going until you broke down and then was placed on medication..
