omeprazole and paracetomol

Hi I am on omeprazole 40g that i take in the morning I was just wondering if it was ok to take paracetomol with these, as I have a splitting headache and need something to relieve the pain, but i have anxiety about mixing drugs

Hi clarissa, they work really well, they started to kick in on day 4 and I was very scared about taking them as like you suffer with HA about prescribed drugs! but they really do help x

It's fine to take them together. Omeprazole is sometimes given to people taking certain painkillers long term (nsaids) to help protect the stomach from damage. All medication should have a PIL inside and that will tell you what you can and can't take with it x
