Worrying about my niece.

Guys, i need advice, I'm worried.
My niece is 8 years old.
It's abit of a silly and a little disgusting thing.

Basically she told me she was itching her bum (inside) then we had breakfast and she hadn't washed her hand.

I'm worried that she's now going to get sick with E. coli or something similar.

I immediately told her to go and wash her hands but it was too late.

Any help or advice? Will she be ok?!

I wouldn't be concerned with her catching anything from doing this at all. I would be more concerned about why her bum is itching inside..if you see her scratching there a lot she could have worms which is quite common in children.
She cannot catch E coli or anything similar this way.

Yes Annie is right Girl afraid. I remember one of my daughters did this and it was worms. She was very irritable too. Not saying your niece has them though.
Maybe just itching anyway-- worms can be treated easily.
