Worried about throat!

HI!
I am a health 21 year old, with health anxiety!
I have had an pretty stressful week! My doctor knows that when I have stress I get acid reflux and I have to take Prolecs for at least three days till it all clears! I am freaking out because in my lower throat it feels like there is muculus in my throat! Now I am all worried about esophagous cancer from acid reflux! I also have post nasal drip so I am all worried now! I am in therapy right now but sometimes things like this happen! Can anyone relate!
I just want to feel assured that this is my head!

As you take meds when you get reflux, and you're only 21, it would be really unlikely that there'd been enough time for even slightly enough damage to cause anything nasty! If you have post-nasal drip then the feeling of mucus in your throat is likely to be exactly that - mucus from your post-nasal drip! It's not impossible that you've got a bit of a cold virus thing - lots of it going around - which would probably make the mucus-y feeling worse, as well.
