Im new to this site. Im a 28yr old single mother of one. have
battled from generalized anxiety as well as.HA for years and
years. I take Paxil as well as alprazolam for the really
difficult times. I go through good spurts.. and then horribly
bad spells where my every thought is consumed with dreadful
incurable disease. Currently its brain tumor. i woke up
2 mths ish ago to the overpowering smell of burnt toast
and dumb me turned to Dr. Google. I have had dizzy spells
for over 8 years... so combine this with Dr. google and I've
got myself convinced its a brain tumor. since relentlessly
researching tumor symptoms ive developed what i believe
is blurred vision in my right eye as. even though my optometrist
has checked it twice (conveniently i work at a eye dr.s
office) everywhere i turn it seems theres something about brain
tumors like its a sign. So i did the logical thing and went and seen
my family dr. she reassures me im not showing any symptoms
but knows i wont rest easy without proof. So ct scan here i come
in 10 days.......... why do i need that if im fine. so scared
of what its bound to reveal! somebody.. anybody help me
through this!!!

Hi your symptoms do not sound brain tumoury to me, it must be horrible to have Health anxiety and to fear different illnesses, brain tumours normally mainfest themselves via headaches which are not treatable with medications, having fits and other quite strong symptoms i really think that you will be fine, at least by having the scan you will be reassured, so good luck and blessings
