View Full Version : Hello!
Hi,
I've been searching on the internet for possible explanations for my problem with swallowing and I stubled on this site, it's so nice to find other people that feel like me (hmmm....probably the wrong use of words, obviously I didn't mean nice, I meant reassuring).
I started seeing a therapist a little while ago because of my panic attacks and irrational thoughts, and now it looks like they could be responsible for my problems with swallowing as well!
Anyway just wanted to say hey to everyone, i'm not having too bad a day today but my thoughts are with all of you having a rough one.
Big love,
El x

Hi El!
Welcome to the forum!
As part of my illness I suffered (an still have occasional relapses) with obsessive swallowing leading to swallowing phobia.
If you have any questions on the subject feel free to ask, I'll be happy to answer them as best I can.
Take care!

You'll get plenty of support here.
Did the doc think the swallowing was down to anxiety too?
