Hey all,
I'm in a right panic now,
Iv had various sensations for over 12 months now and was worried about having a brain tumour.
In feb I had my serum b12 tested which was high at 720 ng (200-660) and again last month it came out at 880 ng.
The GP wrote to Haematology for advice, and today I got a letter through the post asking me to make an appointment to discuss further investigations.....I'm worried like crazy because I used Dr Google who tells me this is raised in blood disorders such as Leukemia.
I have not taken any supplements which could cause a high b12 level either.
I have already had blood testing for:
FBC including blood film.
CRP
Liver Function
Thyroid
and many more but nothing else shows any abnormality other than my red blood cells being slightly elevated.
I am also on testosterone replacement and this treatment can raise red cells too so that is the most likely reason for that abnormality.
