View Full Version : Hands go red
This may be something normal but why do my hands inside of them (palm side) go really red when I am hot?
Is this normal? could this be a sign of high BP or something?
As far as i'm aware my bp is undercontrol with 1 tablet.

Sounds normal to me to be honest
it's just that sometimes my friends have commented like "why are your hands so red" but it's always if I am quite hot like flushy hot.
They were red about 10mins ago and now they are completely normal :S

Mine are red most of the time
Totally normal. When we're hot, our blood flows closer to the surface of our skin to cool. It's different with everyone. Some get a red face, neck or chest etc. You happen to get red palms.
It is normal when you're particularly hot - please don't worry! I've been getting hormonal hot flushes for years now :( and during the flushes, the palms of my hands and my fingers go very red.. it's something to do with the dilation of blood vessels when we're 'skin hot'.
