I am 57 year old woman . HORRIBLE anxiety. New symptom . I've been getting a VERY SLIGHT buzzing feeling mainly in left thumb that comes. & goes. It'sNOT or tingling or pins & needles or numb . Now I'm freaking out over M.S. It's usual age onset is 20-50. Closer to about. 30 tho . I'm in menopause if that means anything. I just feel frightened. & way too anxious here. Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated! My nerves are rattling inside of me with fear. I hate this anxiety ! Thank You!

I had some weird sensations in my left hand (years ago). I went to the doctors who then sent me to a specialist. Turned out that I had nerve damage in the elbow (still have it) and that's what caused it.

They figured out the source via the passing of electrical currents up and down my arm and in and among my hand (wasn't particularly pleasant but hey ho). Not sure what yours could be but I would never have thought of MS.

I'm sure you're fine :)
