Citalopram

I am currently on 25mg of citalopram but the doctor wanted me to go up to 30mg from 20mg but I've only gone to 25mg as I don't want to find it too hard when I come off them.. Just wondered what everybody on these meds is comfortable at..?

My doctor advised me to increase and decrease if I felt I need it. However don't be put off by the fact that you will want to come off them as it matters not about the level of dosage you are on as you decrease slowly over time i.e. 30 -25 -20 -15 -10 -5 etc...... I personally haven't taken them for about a year, yeah sometimes I feel as though I should go back on them but to date I haven't. But the main reason for me was that they caused me stomach cramps...And as an anxiety sufferer that equalled imminent death :)

I am on 40 mg and I think its better to go up to a dose that helps you and when the times right then start to lower the dose as you require
