Out of nowhere, I started having pain in my mid back. I think it started after one if my long 12 hour shifts of charting. Its persisted for 1 week and of course i resorted to Dr google and now I'm scared it's lung cancer, spinal tumor or bone cancer that's metastasized from somewhere else. It comes and goes, not there ALL the time but what scares me is there was no injury. My husband says i sleep in awkward positions, i know my posture is not good especially while at work on the computer.
Why is it that i do this? Every time i think things are going good my body reminds me that I'm human and that i may get sick.

I've had cancer... here's the thing. It doesn't come and go. If it's tumor or something... once it reaches a certain size, and causes a symptom such as pain, it stays there and just gets worse. They call it "cancer" for a reason as it doesn't stop and eats you up without fail.

I'm sure it's muscle stress and strain caused by tension.

Good Luck!
