jaw ache

does anyone else get jaw/ear ache a lot. I have constant anxiety with my throat(globus) so I don't know if its tension or not?

Yeah I get this, it's called TMJ dysfunction usually, which can be any range of problems with your jaw joint which causes pain in the muscles surrounding your jaw. It can cause ear, face, neck & shoulder aches too.

It can be triggered by stress, especially if you tend to clench your jaw or grind your teeth. Mine is triggered by jaw clenching at night, which gets worse if I am stressed or anxious.

thanks, I will have to try and relax my jaw, I do find myself clenching a lot
