Costochondritis sufferers

I'm really struggling right now because although I have not had much anxiety lately, my HA is usually triggered by a sensation or feeling first. I'm not one to obsess about something unless it makes itself apparent and the downward spiral begins.

I'm 26 and am losing lots of weight consciously and am making the right decisions to turn my life around. I realize at 26 it could rarely be my heart. I saw my doc last month and had similar pains and was diagnosed with Costochondritis. However tonight these pains are especially sharp and stab right through me, almost to doubling over. It gets worse with certain positions and if I press on the area.

I just want some reassurance from Costochondritis sufferers that this happens sometimes and what to do to help it.
