As probably the same as most people who have tried taking citalopram, I'm starting to feel a change is in order or I would like to come off of it.
I've been taking citalopram now for 4 years, my stable dose of 20mg has done the trick with my anxiety, but doesn't do allot to tame my depression. I've tried lowering my dose, under my doctors supervision once, but I had an upsurge of panic attacks with that.
My main reasons for wanting to come off: I'm sick to death of these side effects, in my four years of taking it they have seem to got worse.
So my question is, does anyone have any experience with any other drugs for anxiety, without horrendous side effects?
I'm happy to take a drug, that doesn't bother me its the side effects of the damned thing they are making my life very difficult.
