Im being made redundant soon and my anxiety is sky high:weep:

Last few days Im getting this pain/ache in my chest, sort of middle right between ribs, its really worrying me:ohmy: and thats making my anxiety worse!

Can anxiety cause this?, I dont want to rush off to the docs as I had a heart check a couple of months back and all was fine.

Anyone else get this pain thing when really stressed out?

Thanks.

It's quite common actually. I had it for quite a while, still have a little remnant of it. It's fading though.

I found massaging the area regularly really helped.

It's a mixture of being tense ad hyperventilating (and you probably don't know you're doing it) that causes those chest pains. Remember to take some deep, natural breaths by breathing with your stomach - and feeling it rise - then with your upper chest. Practise some relaxation techniques too to relax your muscles.

I am very sorry about the redundancy, take care of yourself.
