Hi there from a newbie

I have recently been diagnosed properly with General anxiety disorder. I have suffered from anxiety and panic attacks from the age of 11. This is as a result of a very traumatic childhood. My doctor has put me on 25mg amitryptiline at bedtime, he said this was best as it has a sedative effect and i was not sleeping very well. I also started counselling this month. This I found very difficult, having to relive my past.

Anyway..just felt I needed to be in the company of others who would understand where I am coming from..as a result I found this site.

Looking forward to getting to know you and contributing to this site.
